Democratic candidate for Governor of Tennessee and Critical Care Physician Dr. Jason Martin, visited DeKalb County last week during his “Thrive for Tennessee” tour. He and his campaign team are striving to cover 95 counties in 95 days. Dr. Martin has been on the frontline of critical care in Tennessee for 20 years. He spoke to the gathered crowd saying that not only are we battling against the pandemic we are fighting a legislature that has used the pandemic against us. He continued saying that they have used it to divide us, they used it to hide their policy bills and our governor, for political reasons cannot lead.
