A fire of unknown origin forced evacuation of employees at Foutch Industries Friday afternoon and left an estimated one million dollars in damage. Fire fighters arrived on the scene to find smoke coming from the ventilation shafts atop the building. The blaze was contained to one part of the large building where there was a chain-to-edge coating line. The fire destroyed the line. The cause of the fire has not been revealed as no one was working in the area at the time the blaze began.
