A couple wanted out of Warren County on attempted homicide charges were arrested in DeKalb County Monday afternoon after a search of a Pates Ford home.
Jonathan McPeak, also known as "Geronimo," and Christina Wallace were taken into custody after Warren County authorities contacted the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, wanting to search a home on Doss Thweat Road. McPeak was wanted for the charge of Attempt to Commit Homicide, while Wallace was wanted for Accessory to the Attempt to Commit Homicide.
Law enforcement converged on the home and a search of the residence revealed no sign of the couple, but a set of tire tracks led authorities to a nearby barn. Inside, the 4-door Buick the couple had last been seen in was located with the couple inside.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office took McPeak in to custody, arresting him for Attempting to Commit Homicide, and Aggravated Assault. Sheriff Matheny and Investigators Spencer Pryor, Calvin Hammond and Holden Baker want to thank the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for their assistance.
