Two people escaped serious injuries from a head-on collision last Tuesday in Liberty. William Reynolds, 78, of Liberty was crossing Highway 70 from a parking lot to Choctoaw Ridge Road and pulled into the path of Anthony Monroe, 36 of Nashville who was traveling west. Monroe was in a 2009 Dodge Ram pulling a boat and Reynolds’ vehicle struck him in the right front knocking both vehicles off the right side of the roadway. The impact of the collision caused the boat being pulled to eject off the trailer into the roadway. Both drivers were taken by ambulance to the emergency room.
