The 2021 DeKalb County High School Homecoming Queen is 17-year-old Kyleigh Breanne Hill. The senior is the daughter of David and Collene Clary and the late Kyle Hill. She attends the Refuge Church, and has worked as a waitress for two years at Kilgore’s Restaurant. She has had dual enrollment for two years through Motlow State Community College, and plans to attend Cumberland University and major in Psychology.

At DCHS, Hill is a member of the Science, Literature, and Spanish Clubs, and she is a four-year basketball cheerleader where she currently serves as captain. She has also played DCHS Tigerette softball for two years.

Miss Hill is a NCA All American nominee, was awarded Best Jumps in cheer for 2020, has a 4.0 grade point average, and is enrolled in all honors classes.

The 2021 Homecoming Attendants are as follows:

Addison Jean Puckett, 17, is a senior attendant, and is the daughters of Jimmy and Anita Puckett. She is an active member of the Outreach Baptist Church where she participates in the OBC youth, Chrysalis, and Young Life. She has worked at Infinity Athletics for four years and has been a lifeguard at the Smithville City Pool for two years. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her niece Lakelyn and best friend Addi Roller

At DCHS, Puckett is a member of Literature, Beta, Spanish, Science, HOSA, Service Society, and FCA clubs. She has been a football cheerleader for four years and she will be cheering for the DCHS basketball teams this season.

Puckett is a 2021 All American Cheerleader and was selected to be part of the NCA staff. She is grateful to be one of the senior football cheer captains.

Another Senior Attendant is 17-year-old Sadie Rian West, the daughter of Dana West and the late Greg West. She is a member of the Charles Creek The Baptist Church and she loves spending time with her family and friends. She hopes to one day be a pilot and travel the world.

In school, West participates in FBLA, Student Government, Beta, Service Society, and Spanish clubs. She is a four-year football cheerleader and competition cheerleader.

West has been nominated for All-American several times, named Top All-American by NCA in Lagrange, Georgia, Attendant her sophomore year, held the title of Most Spirited since 7th grade, and placed 5th in the nation at the Summit in 2021.

The Junior Attendant is 16-year-old Hannah Trapp, the daughter of Jeremy and Jenny Trapp. She attends Buckner’s Chapel Methodist Church and is a member of the Smithville First Baptist Church Youth Group.

Trapp is a member of the Service Society, Spanish Club, and is a three-year football cheerleader. She is a NCA All American nominee, and was awarded Best Flyer in 2020.

The Sophomore Attendant is 15-year-old Abby Grace Cross, the daughter of Tony and Shelly Cross. She is active in the youth group at the Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church.

She is a member of the Science club and has been a football manager for two years, and was named Most Outstanding Freshman girl.

The Freshman Attendant is 14-year-old Madeline Aiko Martin, the daughter of Tim and Michiko Martin. She is a member of the First Baptist Church and the SFBC Youth Group.

Martin participates in FBLA, Student Government, Beta, Service Society, Spanish, and FCA clubs, and is a football cheerleader and member of the Cross Country team. Her grade point average is among the top three highest, she is the Freshman Class Treasurer, and is on the All-A Honor Roll.

Spirit week activities will be held September 20-24 at DCHS, while the DCHS Homecoming Parade will take place this Friday afternoon, September 24. The parade leaved DCHS at 12:30 p.m. and is expected to arrive at the Courthouse Square at 1:50 p.m.
