The DeKalb County Mayor, Matt Adcock, has partnered with Homeless Advocacy for Rural Tennessee (HART) to proclaim the week of November 13, 2023 as Homeless and Hunger awareness week. Pictured with the mayor is Amber Smith, HART Outreach Specialist.  HART is a federally appointed Continuum of Care who partners with local government and non-profits to provide rental assistance for those experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness.  If your organization is interested in applying for funding, please feel free to call Vivian at (931) 484-3207.  If you, or someone you know is experiencing homelessness, please have them call the HART tollfree line at (844) 556-7626 to be assessed for assistance.
