There are now a total of six constable candidates who have picked up qualifying petitions for the March 3, 2020 DeKalb County Democratic Primary. The latest is Darrell Johnson who is seeking his party’s nomination for constable in the second district.
The remaining five, previously announced, are Waylon Kyle in the first district, Paul Cantrell in the fourth district, Mark Milam in the fifth district, Jason Brown in the sixth district and Johnny King in the seventh district. Cantrell Milam and King are incumbents seeing re-election.
All but Johnson and Brown have returned their petitions to the election commission in order to become a qualified candidate.
Local primaries will be held in conjunction with the Presidential Preference Primary on March 3, 2020.
