A couple was arrested after using a debit card at Walmart that did not belong to them.
Shayne Allen Judkins, 51, and Natasha Gail Judkins, 47, of Keltonburg Road, Smithville were arrested on December 2, 2019 and charged with theft of property over $1,000.
According to the warrants, from the dates of June 29 - November 4, 2019, Natasha and Shayne Judkins used a debit card belonging to the victim at Wal-Mart where they purchased merchandise and received cash back totaling $2,605.06. Natasha is a caregiver for the victim who suffers from severe dementia. The Judkins’ accomplished this with the intent to deprive the owner of the property and without the owner’s effective consent. Their bond was set at $7,500, and they are both to appear in court Dec. 19.
Natasha was also cited on December 10 for theft of property. She was seen on Wal-Mart surveillance video on eight separate occasions failing to scan or pay for items totaling $323.29 while using the self-checkout.
