A man faces charges after he bit his sister in the face and then tried to attack her again in front of deputies.
Michael Kent Ford, 34, was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault. He is charged with throwing his sister to the ground and biting her on the face multiple times. He then returned to the scene of a crime after deputies arrived. He allegedly stopped his truck n the road and began running toward the victim he had just assaulted. Officers had to stop him. He resisted and had to be taken to the ground.
Chad Everette Knowles, 48, was arrested for smuggling contraband into a penal institution. His charges come after a jail correctional officer noticed the suspect hiding a piece of paper containing marijuana under his cell mat.
Toni Michelle Lloyd, 30, was arrested for vandalism, theft and burglary. Her charges come after she entered a garage on Ferrell Road where she stole tools, luggage, lighting and a dirt bike stand. Total value was set at $11,500. She is also charged with destroying ignition switches to vehicles and damaging the door to the garage.
James Vernon Rowe, 53, of Baxter was arrested for domestic assault. His charges come after an incident on Sunny Point Road for hitting his stepfather in the face during an argument. The victim had marks on his face. He is also accused of hitting his brother who was trying to break up the fight.
Aubrey Glenn Rigsby, 39, was arrested for failure to appear. Rigsby was supposed to report to the jail on shoplifting charges but didn’t show up to turn himself in.
Clarence Edward Sexton, 49, was arrested for driving on a revoked driver license, second-offense. He was pulled over by a deputy for a light law violation and it was discovered his license was revoked.
