Michael Allen Bain, 36, has been hit with aggravated assault charges after he allegedly pointed a gun at a man’s head and threatened to kill him,

Bain is charged with aggravated assault, a crime that carries three to six years in prison if convicted. He was arrested after Smithville police responded to Hayes Street in reference to someone threatening people with a gun. When they arrived they found Bain had displayed a handgun, pointing it at the caller’s son’s head while threatening to shoot him. It was not revealed what led up to Bain brandishing a weapon.
