A man arrested last month after leading authorities on a high speed chase stemming from a shooting investigation has been charged with stealing the car he was driving during the pursuit.

Gregory Michael Patton, 44, of Smithville was arrested June 19 for burglary, aggravated burglary and theft of property. His bond was set at $22,500 and he is to appear in court July 30. On June 11, Patton took a vehicle, a 2015 Toyota Carola valued at $12,000 from a home on Adcock Cemetery Road, and illegally entered the home and took property valued at over $1,000.

Candida Faye Davidson, 47, of Smithville arrested June 23 for violation of bond conditions. A deputy was called to a residence on Frosty Point of an unwanted guest. Davidson is the respondent of an active order granting bail with the female as the protected person. This went into effect May 26.

Christopher lee Cunningham, 30, of Smithville was arrested June 23 for public intoxication. He will be in court July 16. A deputy found Cunningham in a ditch on Blue Springs Road who appeared to be intoxicated.

Kevin Scott Hammond, 49, of Smithville June 26 public intoxication. He is to be in court July 16. A deputy responded to a business on Cookeville Highway where Hammond was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech. He was placed under arrest.

John Stephen Smith, 38, of Goodlettsville was arrested on June 22 for domestic assault. A deputy responded to Pates Ford Marina on June 22 for a domestic. Smith drug his wife from a bed to take a tablet from her. He also hit her in the head and face.

Spencer Ervin Stanfield, 24, of Smithville was arrested on June 20 for DUI third offense. A deputy spotted a vehicle sitting in the middle of the road with the driver passed out. There were two open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Stanfield was woke up and given standard sobriety task, which he performed poorly. He was also written a citation for driving on a revoked license first offense and an open container. He is to appear in court July 9.

Stanley William Morris, 49, of Liberty was arrested on June 18. He had a sealed indictment for two counts of sale/delivery/poss/manufacture/with intent of .5 gram of methamphetamine in a drug free zone. Bond was set at 7500, he will be in court July 14.

Melissa Ann King, 70, of Smithville was arrested June 11 for domestic assault. On June 11, a deputy responded to Kings Court Circle for a domestic call. He came in contact with King who stated she and her daughter were at a neighbor’s residence when they got into an argument. The daughter made a statement about a deceased relative of King’s, so she slapped her daughter.

James Ricky Ashford, Jr., 41, of Liberty was arrested on June 11 vandalism, burglary, and theft of property. On April 8, Ashford took several tools, a tool bag and a baseball pitching machine. The total value is $600. He also entered a silver Impala with the intent to commit a theft. He destroyed the backseat of the vehicle.  His bond was set at $7,000, and he is to appear in court July 16.

Mark Denver Young, 39, of Smithville was arrested June 10 for domestic assault. A deputy was dispatched to a home on Barnes Mill Road on June 10 for a domestic. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke to a female. He noticed several bruise marks to her mouth, neck and left arm. She stated that Young had hit her several times causing the bruising and bleeding to prove the assault. She stated he had also hit her several times on June 6 as well.  His bond was set at $2,500, and he is to appear in court July 16.

Eric Dean Morgan of Watertown, 30, was arrested June 16 and charged with assault and violation of order of protection. His bond was set at $3,500, and he will appear in court July 2. On June 14 responded to the square in Alexandria where a female who said her ex-boyfriend, Eric Morgan, pushed her several times and hit her in the face and head with his fist. The victim stated this happened at a home they shared on Malone Hollow Road.

Donald Donald Johnson, 60, of Alexandria was arrested and charged with domestic assault on June 13 domestic assault. A deputy responded to a residence on Lower Helton Road on June 13 for a possible domestic situation. The deputy made contact with a male and Jerry Johnson. The male is the son of Johnson. The son stated Johnson was on the property when he came home from work and he had charged at him with a stick. Johnson’s bond was set at $1,500.

Jimmy Mason Page, 45, of Dowelltown was arrested June 9 for violation of an order of protection.  On June 9 a deputy responded to Old Snow Hill road for a suspicious person. The deputy made contact with Page who was at his mother’s residence. A check found that his mother had an active order of protection against him. His bond was set at $2,500.

Barry Summers, 38, of Silver Point was written a citation for theft under $1,000 on June 6. Summers took three batteries from a business on Cookeville Highway on June 4. They were recovered at his home and were valued over $500.
