Miller Announces Bid for Re-Election
Josh Miller

Smithville Mayor Josh Miller has announced last week his bid for another four-year term in the August, 2022 Municipal Election. Miller was first elected to mayor in 2018, having previously served two terms as a city alderman.

“First of all I want to thank the City of Smithville for giving me the chance to serve you,” Mayor Miller said in a press release. “I would also like to thank my family for their support as well. First as a city council member and now as mayor, being mayor is an honor of a lifetime. I try to serve the city to the best of my ability.”

“I have given a lot of thought and prayer in seeking re-election,” Miller continued. “I believe the city has made great strides the last few years. I have been blessed with a great council and great employees. I believe it is very important and crucial to surround yourself with good people. I would like to ask for your support in the City of Smithville Mayor election in August, 2022. It would be a great honor to serve for another term.”
