The Smithville-DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new location of the Smithville Review, DeKalb County’s long-standing local newspaper.
Now located at 315 North Public Square in downtown Smithville, the Smithville Review continues its mission of serving the community with trusted news, updates, and features. Chamber Director Suzanne Williams, local officials, community members, and Smithville Review staff gathered to mark the occasion and tour the new space.
“We are proud to celebrate the growth and continued presence of the Smithville Review in our community,” said Williams. “Their commitment to keeping residents informed and connected is a vital part of our local identity.”
The Smithville Review’s new office is now open to the public, complete with a new archive area featuring past issues over 80 years, and the team looks forward to welcoming visitors, contributors, and subscribers at their convenient downtown location
