Food Giveaway, July 18

Snow Hill Baptist Church will have a food give away this Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Please note that the Church will only have one give away each month starting in July. The plan is to give away food on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Please line up on the east side of the church and drive around. Someone will put food in your car. Please stay in your car, no restrooms available. Everyone is welcome. Todd Pack is the Pastor.

 

American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary Meeting. July 15

The meeting will be Thursday, July 15 at 6 p.m. A meal of hamburgers and hot dogs will be enjoyed before the meeting. All members and spouses are invited to attend. Anyone attending needs to bring a compatible dish and or dessert.

 

VBS, July 18 -21

Kingdom Quest VBS is coming to Refuge Church on July 18 – 21 from 6:30 - *:30 p.m. We are located right on the square at 303 Public Square. It is for K-5th grade. Each night, we will have food, games, crafts, Bible stories, and worship. On Wednesday, July 21 will be family night at the park. We will meet at Greenbrook Park instead of the church and food, games, and inflatables. If your child would like a shirt, they are $5. We will have them available first come, first serve on the first night of VBS, or you can pre-order one on our Facebook page by leaving a comment or sending us a message. Homecoming & Revival, July 18

Mt. Herman Baptist Church will be having Homecoming July 18 at 11 a.m. Bro. Marvin Pryor will be the guest preacher and lunch to follow.

Revival will begin July 19 -22 at 7 p.m. Bro. Glen Denton will be preaching Monday & Tuesday and Bro. Terry Wilkerson Wednesday & Thursday night. Special singers Monday night will be Right on Time, Tuesday night will be Joyful Praises, Wednesday night will be Son Seekers and Thursday night Joe Bogle. Everyone welcome. Bro. Mike Gay Pastor.

 

Driver’s License Roadside safety checkpoint, July 30

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting a driver license checkpoint July 30, 2021 on State Route 96 in DeKalb County. Recognizing the danger presented to the public drivers that are under the influence and unqualified drivers that violate the driver license laws of Tennessee. The Tennessee Highway Patrol has found driver license to be an effective means of enforcing driver license laws of Tennessee while ensuring the protection of all motorist.

This is the 72nd annual reunion for Wakefield-Parkhurst families. The reunion will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Wilson County fairgrounds in the Veteran’s Building ( near Fiddlers Grove), 945 East Baddour Parkway, Lebanon, TN 37087.
