Smithville Elementary held their first "Careers on Wheels" event last week, during which local businesses involving vehicles came to the school parking lot. Classes went around to all of the vehicles and got to learn about the different careers. They loved it and learned a lot! Smithville Elementary would like to thank everyone who participated, which includes the Smithville Police Department, Tennessee State Troopers, the DeKalb Sheriff's Department, DeKalb Emergency Services, the Smithville Fire Department, Middle TN Natural Gas, DTC, Smithville Electric, Molly's Pampered Paws, and Industrial Rubber and Gasket.
