40-year-old Sebrina Ann Lattimore of 235 Toad Road was arrested for Shoplifting. Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart in reference to a shoplifter and upon arrival made contact with a manager that witnessed Lattimore conceal items in her pants and jacket in an attempt to deprive the business of the property. Total value of the items taken: $137.40 and consisted of clothing items, batteries, and phone accessories. When confronted by law enforcement, Lattimore became belligerent, uncooperative, and refused to identify herself.
Anita J Williams 67 of 805 King Ridge Rd was cited for passing a school bus. The vehicle Williams was driving was observed by law enforcement passing a school bus that had the stop sign extended. The bus was stopped on W. Broad St at Griffins Fruit Market letting children off.
27-year-old Stephanie Michelle Mooneyham of 223 Toad Rd was arrested for Domestic Assault. Mooneyham slapped a family member across the face leaving a red mark because she was tired of walking everywhere.
47-year-old Craig Anthony Hill of 8741 Holmes Creek Rd was arrested for Public Intoxication. Hill was heard behind a residence yelling for help. Upon police arrival, Hill did not know where he was and appeared nervous and could not stand still. He was sweating and had no shoes on at the time of the incident. It was discovered that Hill had done about a half gram of methamphetamine and due to his actions and for his safety he was taken into custody.
Amy Dawn Curtis 48 of 150 Kings Court Circle, lot 10 was cited for
Theft of Property. Curtis was observed concealing items in her purse in an attempt to deprive Doller General Store of its merchandise.
James Harmen Elkins 29 of Reading Michigan was cited for Prohibited Weapon. Elkins was pulled over for a traffic violation and while the officer was speaking with him the officer observed a pair of brass knuckles that Elkins was trying to conceal under his buttocks.
Kayla Dianne Miller 29 of Woodbury was cited for Theft of Property. Miller was taken into custody at Wal-Mart for an outstanding FTA. Search incident to arrest revealed she had taken several items belonging to Wal-Mart without their consent.
Carlos Hernan Herrera Alvarez 36 of 215 W. Main St apt 6 was arrested for Aggravated Assault. Police responded to a residence on Odom St for a domestic where they were informed that Alvarez and the victim had been drinking then got into an argument at which time, he pulled a knife and threatened her with it. Alvarez started to strangle the victim with one hand while waving the knife with the other. While trying to defend herself her hand and fingers were cut needing medical aid. Victim had visible marks around her neck and upper chest area along with cuts to the fingers and hands. Alvarez was found to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody. Bond: 10,000.00 GS: 1/17/19
Zachary Lane Bennett 25, of Liberty was arrested for Domestic Assault. Police responded to a residence on Short St for a domestic situation. Upon arrival the officer observed the victim with a mark on the left side of her face where Bennett had allegedly bit her during an argument. Upon investigation it was determined that Bennett was the primary aggressor and taken into custody. Bond: 3500.00 GS: 1/17/19
Patty Sue Tatrow 43, of 110 Braswell Lane was cited for Simple Possession. Tatrow was stopped for a traffic violation and while in his patrol car, the officer observed Tatrow putting something into the center console of her vehicle very quickly. The officer asked her what she was doing and if she had anything illegal in the car to which she replied in the negative but gave the officer consent to search. Approximately 2.8 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was found in the center console.
Raymond Howard Rollins 30, of 165 Shady Dr was arrested for Theft over $10,000.00. A report was filed on 12/21/18 concerning the theft of an Inno Fusion Splicer. During the investigation it was discovered that Rollins had taken the splicer, valued at $11,000.00 on or about 12/16/18 without the owner’s consent. The item was recovered in Smithville where a witness advised that Rollins tried to sell the item to them. A warrant for Rollins arrest was issued on 12/22/18 and was later arrested on 1/6/19.
33-year-old Amy L Knowles of 905 W. Main St. lot 4 was arrested for Domestic and Aggravated Assault and cited for Simple Possession. Police responded to the above address in reference of a physical domestic. Upon arrival the officer observed Knowles standing over, pointing, and yelling at one of the victims. The officer ordered her to stop and she went into the living room and started to leave. The officer informed her she couldn’t leave and she started screaming at the other victim in the house then picked up a clothes hamper and charged attempting to hit the victim over the head with it. The officer attempted to grab the hamper and was partially successful and the victim was able to block it as well. Upon investigation it was discovered that all the parties had been in an argument and Knowles charged at one of the victims, punching, choking, and pulling her hair. The other victim’s lip was busted while he was attempting to separate the two. Knowles was taken into custody. Search incident to arrest the officer discovered 18 yellow and orange capsules believed to be 300mg Gabapentin in a plastic bag to which she could not provide a prescription for.
Bruce Carlon Cantrell 30, of 290 Bobby Hayes Rd was arrested for Public Intoxication, Resisting Stop, Frisk, Halt Arrest or Search, and cited for Prohibited Weapon. Police responded to an accident on Hayes St and made contact with Cantrell how had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person, slurred speech, and unsteady on his feet. He tried to leave the scene by walking away and he was advised that he couldn’t leave due to Public Intoxication. During a search incident to arrest, Cantrell started to try an prevent the officer form searching by turning around and keeping the officer’s hands away from his pockets. The officer attempted to cuff Cantrell and he attempted to pull his hands away and wouldn’t put them behind his back upon being ordered to do so. He was then taken to the ground and cuffed without incident. Upon search of his person a pair of brass knuckles was located in his pocket.
Austin Jacobs Brown 21, of Liberty was cited for Passing a School Bus. The officer did observe Brown pass a school bus that was letting children off the bus at a residence on Broad St. The school bus stop sign and red caution lights were active and working properly.
Crystal M Smith 23, of McMinnville was cited for drug paraphernalia. Upon a traffic stop and consent to search a clear jar with filters (used to filter methamphetamine) and a spoon with a filter (used to filter methamphetamine) was found in her possession. Smith pulled the jar from her bras and the officer was informed that she uses the jar to transport methamphetamine. A spoon with crystal residue was found in the glove compartment of the vehicle. Smith was also cited light law as the tail lights were spray painted and the stop light couldn’t be seen at 100-foot distance and cited for financial responsibility as she couldn’t provide valid insurance.
