Several arrests were made by sheriff’s deputies over the past week. Included in sheriff’s department arrests and citations:

Kevin Jay Dodson, 40, has been charged with violation of the sex offender law. His charges come after he failed to report to the sexual offender registry for his annual review.

Kennedy Nicole Redmon, 40, is charged with violation of bond conditions. A deputy was taking her into custody on an outstanding warrant when he realized there was a restraining order declaring she should not be at her mother’s home.

Jeremy Wayne Cox, 30, is charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism. Cox was found inside a residence on Jefferson Road where the basement door had been kicked in.

Shauna Renee Taylor, 48, has been charged with resisting arrest. A deputy went to a residence to arrest her on an outstanding warrant. She ran from the lawman into a back room and then resisted the officer as he was trying to take her into custody.

Glen Ray Jones, 44, has been charged with resisting arrest, filing a false report and possession of meth. He was arrested when officers came to his house looking for Shauna Taylor and he claimed she was not there. She was found there and Jones was being taken into custody for lying to the officer. He resisted as he was being cuffed. Five bags of meth was found in his jeans when he was arrested.

Crystal May Smith, 23, was cited for possession of Xanax and Soma pills. They were found on her while she was being arrested on an outstanding warrant.
