On November 5, 2022, the Sheriff’s Department received a report of someone having a bullet shot through their home on Lower Helton Road, near Alexandria. According to Sheriff Ray, Johnson and Hall were illegally hunting deer from the roadway when an errant shot went through a house.

The bullet destroyed a window, interior walls, and a light fixture in the home, with an estimated cost of the damage exceeding $1,200. A man and a woman were also inside when the incident occurred.
