The structure was engulfed with flames

 The Fire Department Responded with Engine 1, Engine 2, and Ladder 1. Upon arrival it was a duplex that had one side fully engulfed with the fire extending to the other unit. One of the residence’s had a female who sustained injuries after being pulled from the home by the neighbor and other bystanders. She was transported by Ambulance to the hospital and then transported via Helicopter to Vanderbilt to the burn unit. The extent of her injuries or condition is not know at this time. The second residence had a family of three that were able to make it out safely. There was a cat that was able to be recovered from the home and is stable. During the search for the family’s cat the Firefighters recovered a Bible that had not damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time by the TBI.
