The driver of this truck, believed to be Kyle Fuller, took police on a two county pursuit beginning in White County and ending in DeKalb near Hurricane Bridge after spike strips were used to disable the truck.

A police pursuit that began in White County Saturday afternoon ended in DeKalb County after the driver wrecked near Hurricane Bridge on Cookeville Highway.

The driver of a pickup truck hauling a trailer, swung through the property of former Gill Automotive at the intersection of Hwy. 70 and Hwy. 56 and continued north disregarding all other traffic on the road. At some point prior to Hurricane Bridge, spike strips were put down to stop the truck. It went off the road near the bridge, where reportedly a brief standoff with officers took place before the driver was placed in custody.

The driver, believed to be but unverified by officials, was 37 year-old Kyle Fuller of Logansville, GA. Fuller, a fugitive from justice out of Gwinnett County, Georgia, was stopped by a White County officer in their county for a traffic violation per a written release on the White County Sheriff’s Department social media page. Though no name was given on the page by the office, arrest and charges on an arrest app. match up with charges given on their social media. White County Sheriff Steve Page did not return our call for comment.

 

The driver, believed to be Fuller was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, evading arrest, fugitive from justice, manufacturing/possession/delivery/sell of methamphetamine, possession of a weapon by a felon, possession without prescription, reckless driving, unlawful carry/possession of a weapon, and criminal impersonation.

 

He has been on the run since November 2019 from Georgia having several burglary and theft charges.
