The recently formed DeKalb County Swift Water Taskforce completed a Basic Swift Water 1 training this past weekend.   Currently the Swift Water Taskforce is comprised of members from the Smithville-DeKalb County Rescue Squad, Alexandria Fire Department, DeKalb County Fire Department, and Smithville Fire Department.

Those attending the training were Dustin Johnson, Herb Checchi, Bill Brown Jr, Robert Sartin, Luke Judkins, Gelsio Chacon, Joe Driver, Jeffery Bogle, Matt Adcock, Harlin McCloud, Larry Maddox, Luke Partridge, Joel Lowdermilk, Charlie Parker, John Poss, Dalton Roberts, Glen Lattimore, and Dakota Nokes. Members not pictured are Luke Green and John Partridge.
