State Senator Mark Pody has scheduled Town Hall “Listening Meetings” to hear from constituents about issues facing Tennessee this year. Pody will also offer assistance to constituents with state government-related services.
“We have a lot of issues before the General Assembly this year which greatly affects Tennessee’s future, including Tennessee’s economic recovery, education, public safety, and family values. I want to hear from Senate District 17 constituents about their thoughts on how we can make Tennessee an even greater state to work, live and raise a family. I also want to be very accessible in helping constituents with any issues they face with state government services. We want to help them cut through the red tap to solve any issues they may have.”
The local town hall will be held on Friday, April 9 at 11 am. In the History Room of the DeKalb County Complex.
“This is a very informal meeting,” added Senator Pody. “I always look forward to seeing many friends, both old and new, as we work together to move our state forward.”
Senator Pody represents Cannon, Clay, DeKalb, Macon, Smith, and Wilson Counties in Senate District 17.
