

Two men are charged with vehicular homicide, along with multiple other charges, after the grand jury returned sealed indictments this past Friday. One sealed indictment was also returned on a manufacturing methamphetamine charge.
Raymond Howard Rollins, James Christopher Vaughn and Williams Andrew Robertson were all arrested and taken into custody November 22.
Raymond Rollins, age 31, of Cookeville is charged with vehicular homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment – deadly weapon and DUI. His bond was set at $100,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10.
The charges stem from a two car crash that happened on Highway 70 in Liberty in December 2018 where 28 year-old Amanda L. Smith lost her life.
The 1998 Ford Mustang which Rollins and Smith were in struck a 2014 Honda Accord driven by a Sparta man.
Williams Andrew Robertson, age 39, of Smithville was also charged with vehicular homicide, along with vehicular assault and first offense DUI. His bond was set at $100,000, and he is to appear in court Dec. 10.
His charges come from a head on crash that happened March 30, 2019, where an intoxicated Robertson crossed into the southbound lane on South Congress Boulevard and struck a Mercedes SUV driven by Billy Blevins and passenger Bessie Blevins. Bessie passed away due to injuries received in the crash.
A third sealed indictment was returned on William Andrew Robertson, age 43, of Alexandria for Manufacture of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $30,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10 as well.
