Veteran's Day Program
Veterans
Many local veterans were in attendance during the Veteran’s Day ceremony and were on hand during the Laying of the Wreath.

On Friday, November 11th there will be a Veteran's Day Program sponsored by The American Legion and Ladies' Auxiliary Post 122, , Senior Citizen’s Center and Pam Redmon; Jan Thomas; and Tom Bumbalough, Representatives of the Woodsmen of the World. The event will take place at the County Complex auditorium.  Preliminary music will start at 9:30.

At approximately 10 a.m. there will be a presentation of colors followed by a program of music by the DeKalb County High School band, and songs by the High School Chorus.

Following the entertainment opening remarks, welcome and introduction of the guest speaker will be made by a member of the American Legion or Auxiliary.   When the guest speaker has concluded, everyone will adjourn to the courthouse for the laying of a wreath and the playing of "Taps".  Everyone is welcome.
