Virtual parent-teacher conference scheduled
school board
The snow routes were explained to the school board by Director of Schools Bobby Cox.

A virtual parent-teacher conference is scheduled for October.

Due to COVID-19 concerns the DeKalb County School District has announced that instead of in person parent teacher conferences at the individual schools, all five schools will conduct virtual parent teacher conferences online Tuesday, October 27 from 3-6 p.m.

Report cards will be issued on October 29 and since schools opened two weeks late this summer, the first semester will be divided into two eight-week instead of nine week periods. It’s not been determined yet if or how the lost two weeks are to be made up.

Fall break is set for October 12-16.
