Several arrests were made this past week by members of the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department. Included in county arrests:
Sherry Gunter, 36, was charged with vandalism after $4,000 worth of damage was done to a structure on Neal Drive. Officers found Gunter still inside the residence when they arrived.
Jose B. Soto, 30, was charged with assault after a man reported opening his door and being punched in the nose. He told officers Soto was the man who slugged him.
Julian G. Soto, 37, was charged with second offense DUI after a deputy noticed he wasn’t keeping to his lane of travel. Upon pulling him over, the officer noticed an odor of alcohol and other tell-tale signs of intoxication. He did poorly on his field sobriety test and was arrested.
Tanner L. Glass, 23, was charged with DUI after deputies found him unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle that had struck a structure on Village Square in Dowelltown. He was unsteady on his feet once they rousted him and was unaware of his location. He was arrested on the spot.
Stanley W. Morris Jr., 43, was charged with burglary, vandalism and theft for breaking into a truck by busting out its window.
Tony Lee Petty, 53, was charged with domestic assault after his girlfriend told deputies he hit her in the face during an argument.
