Wild Ride for Trucker
Crash
A trucker lost control of his vehicle and crashed last Friday morning.

A 61-year-old Chattanooga man had a wild ride after being involved in a foggy morning crash.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Bobby Johnson, around 7:45 AM on Friday, June 4, Billy Branam was traveling north on Highway 146, near Mt. Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church, in a 2019 International Box Truck, delivering produce for T & T Produce out of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, over corrected, then crossed the roadway and ran off the left side. The truck then struck a ditch, fence, and utility pole before over turning, coming to final rest on its left side in a field.

Johnson was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the crash.
