Tamara Dodson lost her phone and allegedly assaulted her mother.

A woman who lost her phone and then knocked her mother to the ground with her car door has been charged with domestic assault.

The woman, Tamara Michelle Dodson, 32, stands charged with the crime which unfolded after she mislaid her cellphone. According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, the mother and daughter were in an argument because Dodson thought someone had stolen her cellphone when she was unable to find it. She reportedly stormed out of the house where the argument happened and was followed by her mother who was going to get her purse out of the car before Dodson left. However, during the melee that followed, Dodson allegedly knocked her mother to the ground with her car door cause her to scrape her knee. She then three her mother’s purse out of the window and drove away.

The sheriff noted that Dodson’s cellphone, which had been source of the angst between Dodson and her mother was later found inside the house where she had left it.
