Jessica and Tyler Cripps hold their one-year-old daughter, Josee. The Alexandria couples first child, Paislee, was stillborn in May 2013. They have since created Paislees Foundation to assist with burials for infants and children up to 3 years of age and have helped about 30 families including residents of Lebanon, Carthage, Smithville, Sparta, Woodbury and Cookeville.
ALEXANDRIA — Married for 17 months, Jessica and Tyler Cripps were as ecstatic as any couple could be when they discovered they were going to be parents. But the stillborn arrival of daughter, Paislee Cheyanne, on May 3, 2013, sent them reeling. Immediately, support poured in from their families, church and community, which provided vital comfort and care as they went through the following hours, days and months of grief.
