The Smithville Fiddlers Jamboree will be the weekend of Friday, July 6, and Saturday, July 7. This event draws in thousands upon thousands of visitor’s to DeKalb County each year. Good food, good music, and crafts galore you will find and local merchants always have quite a array of bargains to choose from in their business establishments for this occasion. The hospitality shown to all is like the icing on the cake as that is what the people of DeKalb County always extend to its visitors. Make plans to come out and just have a good ole time with all the “picking and grinning” that will be going on. Bring essentials such as a lawn chair, hat, and umbrella just in case it rains, we don’t want anyone to melt ya know and by all means, you gotta have comfortable shoes for all the walking around and checking everything out at the jamboree. You will for sure be glad you came and most likely you’ll want to visit this neck of the woods again next year. In fact, you’ll probably make the Smithville Fiddlers Jamboree an annual destination you and your family will want to come to and stay a spell with us. The “Welcome Mat” is always out.
Please keep in prayer: Charlie Mai Daniel, Edna Hooper, Billy Nokes, and Bernie Braswell.

Have a great day!
Hope all of you have a wonderful July 4th with family and friends. Do be careful when shooting off those fireworks and closely supervise any kids that are doing it. No one wants to go to the E.R. on such a joyous occasion.
