Hope everyone is staying safe so as not to catch the coronavirus that is plaguing us.
Some places to open back up soon. I’m wondering if that is the right thing to do. Personally I do not think that it is a good idea. I’m just hoping I’m wrong.
The Smithville Jamboree has been cancelled this year. I think that was the right decision to make by the officials over this annual event. A disappointment for sure to so many people, but it was the right call to make.
Please keep in prayer the following people: Peggy McClain, Louise Foster, Charlie Mai Daniel, Ronald Lawson, Helen Nixon, Jeanette Smithson, Ethelene Pedigo, Dr. J.C. Wall, and Peggy Caldwell.
Left out April birthdays: Conner Meyncke, Claire Nicole O’Neal, Carolyn Graham (our daughter), Diane Evans, Wanda Dunham, Dustin Johnson, Kim Hall, Edith Miller, Brooklyn Pedigo, and Debbie Melton.
With May right around the corner, here are some birthdays for May to let you know about: John Womack, Leah Johnson, our granddaughter, Sherri Davenport, Jimmy Womack, Ron Fryar, Peggy Young, Holly Gunter, Wayne Gunter, and Jack Parsley.
May wedding anniversaries: Tony and Donna Lawson, Billy Joe and Barbara Vincion. Congratulations to all of you!
We may be in for some severe weather around here later on this afternoon. As I look out the window, the clouds are building and are looking dark and ominous. Will have to stay weather aware with all the bizarre weather we’ve been having so far this year.
Since we’re confined to staying in during this virus what better time given to us to praise and worship God for all His goodness. Let’s be sure to pray for His guidance in this crisis that we are facing. God will get us through this pandemic, if we will put our trust in Him.
