Atnips celebrate 63 years of marriage

Auval and Mentie (Young) Atnip of Smithville celebrated 63 years of marriage on May 22.
The couple was married on May 22, 1948 in Rossville, Ga.
They have five children, Austin Eugene Atnip, Brenda Gail Adams, Patricia Ann Wright, Lillie Mairene Bowman, and Sherry Lyn O’Neal; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
