From day-olds to a year old, 23 babies were showcased during the annual fair baby show held Thursday evening at the DeKalb County Fair. The winners included: Boys (Birth to 3 months): Lennox Wayne Taylor, 19-day-old son of Allison Taylor of Smithville; Girls (Birth to 3 months) Addilyn Kate Nixon, the 3-month-old daughter of Nathan and Jessica Nixon of Smithville; runner-up, Bristol Avery Stanley, the 3-month-old daughter of Maci and Seth Stanley of Smithville. Boys (4-6 months): John Elias Zieschang, the 4-month-old son of Royce and Michalynn Zieschang of Liberty; runner-up, Tucker Mason Funk, the 6-month-old son of Heather Funk and Jordan Funk of Dowelltown Girls (4-6 months): Penelope Chapman, the 4-month-old daughter of Josh and Taylor Chapman of Smithville; runner-up, Blakelyn Emerie Cripps, the 6-month-old daughter of Kami and Corey Cripps of Smithville.
