Bain, Carlton to exchange vows

Patricia Pettit and A.J. and Carol Bain would like to announce the engagement of their children, Amanda Joy Carlton and Dustin J. Bain. The future bride is the daughter of the late James Stephens, Sr. of Albertville, Ala., and the granddaughter of the late Rudolph Connelly of Augusta, Ga. and Betty Jean Williams of Aiken, S.C. and the late Daniel and Ola Stephens of Albertville, Ala. The future groom is the grandson of the late Honest and Jewel Bain of Smithville and Donna and the late Thurman Napier. The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Covenant Academy in Scottsboro, Ala. and also graduated from Mister Wayne’s Barber School College. She is currently employed at Salon DaVinci in Cookeville. The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of DeKalb High School in 1999. He is a graduate of Tenn. Technology University he is employed as a CNC programmer in Cookeville. The wedding will be July 2 at the Castle in Rock Island at 2 p.m.
