Be a cheerful giver.

Sometimes a story needs to be repeated. I heard this story on my radio one day. This guy was going to be coming into a large sum of money around $100,000. He had a bad heart so his family was hesitant to tell him for fear of what that kind of news would do to their father. They thought his pastor could do a better job of delivering the news to him. The pastor and the man discussed a lot of issues and the pastor finally asked the man what would he do if he received a lot of money say $100,000? The man thought for a second then he said why I would give every penny of it to the church. The pastor then fell dead! Some of you will have gotten the zest of this story especially pastors. We all need to remember God loves a cheerful giver. When we give to God it never fails for us to be blessed.

We need to keep in prayers the family of Samuel Wright, age 20 that passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on Saturday, February 1, 2020. A young life ended way too soon!

Also, be uplifting in prayer the families of Faye Nokes, and John Henry Thweatt in the passing of their loved ones.

We should be praying one for another. Having said that these people need our prayers too: Charlie Mai Daniel, Helen Nixon, Jeanette Smithson, Ethelene Pedigo, Tim Howes, Dr. J.C. Wall, and Loyce Holcomb. God is always listening so our prayers to Him never fall on deaf ears.

Hope you make it to church this Sunday to praise and worship the Lord and enjoy the fellowship with other believers in honoring our soon-coming King, Jesus Christ.
