It has turned out to be a snowy morning up here on the mountain this Thursday. Seems like everyone I’ve talked to is enjoying this beautiful sight just like me. The roads too warm for the snow to stick and cause trouble for people driving in them. I’m watching the beauty of nature with the snow falling at a steadier pace now as I look out our patio doors. It is certainly a picturesque scene outside. This snow not as big as the last snow we had a few weeks ago. Our snows we have now nothing to compare with the snows we used to have at home when I was growing up. Guess this is because of global warming that is going on. I sure wanted a white Christmas back in December. Will keep my fingers crossed for Next Christmas in hoped of some snow coming our way.
I often think of those growing up years and oh what precious memories of Mom and Dad and my sibling’s and so many wonderful things that happened in our family. Those memories no one can take from you. Precious they are indeed and to be treasured.
Our greatest memory should be the day we accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Savior as no other memories can top the freedom and the happiness we feel when He saves our soul from hell, if we’ll ask Him for forgiveness of our sins. I hope you have or will make the decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to serve Him and only Him for the rest of your life. When you end your journey here, you’ll be in the presence of Jesus for eternity. It is so easy to have Jesus in your life. He’s just waiting patiently for you to acknowledge Him by surrendering your life to Him in asking for forgiveness of your sins. All will be well with your soul because of the peace you will feel inside when you accept Jesus.
