Bitter cold
carolgunter

The past three days have been so bitterly cold with daytime temperatures in the twenties and thirties and lows at night in the teens. Just a few days ago highs in the seventies and that is why this artic air is hurting us so bad. I do so yearn for the good ole summertime temperature compared to this freezing to death. At the end of the week we’ll be thawing out just in time to greet some more rain. I think this is the fourth weekend that it has rained.

I have some good news to report on Loyce Holcomb. Loyce called me on Friday and wanted to thank everyone for their prayers after her diagnosis of cancer. That tumor was removed and so were several lymph nodes with no cancer in any of them. She truly believes as I do also in the power of prayer. Loyce staying a little while with her sister, Royce Womack. I found out that their birthday was on November 17, 2019. They turned 85 years young that day. Congratulations to both girls. May you have many more beautiful birthdays to celebrate?

Please keep Loyce in your prayers as she recovers and be praying also for: Charlie Mai Daniel, Helen Nixon, Jeanette Smithson, Tim Howes, and Dr. J.C. Wall. We need to keep in prayer the families of Faye Nokes and John Henry Thweatt.

If you have any news for the column, just give me a call at 615-563-4429.

Have a great day!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1
