A special get-well wish goes to a dear native lady of our Dry Creek Valley, Mrs. Georgia Hawker, who had surgery at Summit Hospital on Tuesday.

Ms. Jeanette France is recovering nicely from her recent surgery at DeKalb Community Hospital. We send our love and continued prayers and best wishes to our friend and neighbor.

Mrs. Kathy Hendrix and other DeKalb Educators have been at Opryland this week for an Educators Seminar. Teachers will be back in school on M onday. We pray for our teachers and students to have a successful in 2011-2012.
So nice to have a call from Mrs. Aline Keith of White House. Aline lived at Smithville for many years and attended First Baptist Church.
We’ve known her for many years. She is the daughter of the late Livi and Pearl Ellege Cripps and is a native of the Dry Creek Valley.
We were happy to tell her that we are improving and doing well after a long illness in DeKalb County Hospital.
Thanks to her for her call and best wishes, and thanks to all who are still remembering to send cards, for prayers, calls and so many kindness. God blesses those who think of others.
