Celebrating Mother's Day

New Home News with Barbara Ann Ervin

New Home Missionary Baptist Church had Preaching on the Porch this past Sunday. Staring off with Sunday school with Douglas Ervin and preaching with Bro. Bobby Hale. It was nice to get to see everyone even thou we were in the parking lot. Just to get to see your church family is a blessing even from a distance.

I had a wonderful Mother’s Day. We had a cook out for Nana, Rebecca Ervin, on Saturday those attending were: Mark, Kimberly Violet, Paul Violet, Spencer Stanfield, Hunter, Nicole, Ryder, Cooper, Tucker, Ryan, Lindsy, Charlee, Rylee Winfree, Hayden, Katie Ervin, Douglas and Barbara Ann Ervin. My children, Hayden and Katie Ervin and Lindsy, Ryan, Charlee, and Rylee Winfree, and Douglas came to my house for lunch. Angie Meadows children, Stephanie, Billy, Sophie, and Serenity Tiner, Brandon Rackley and Tyler and Will Meadows, Barbara and Aaron Meadows also celebrated with her with a cook out at Stephanie’s home. Everyone had a great time. If you still have your mother cherish her. Mine has been gone a long time and I miss her dearly.

I saw boats filling up at the gas stations they were probably getting ready for a day at the lake. It was a cool day for the lake but beautiful sunshine.

I hope these late night freezing will stop so people can stop covering their plants. This year has been a crazy year with the weather, Covid 19, tornadoes and floods. I pray it all passes soon.

Prayers for the sick and the ones who have lost loved ones.

Everyone have a blessed day.
