Christmas was a wonderful time for our family. We all enjoyed the family fellowship, seeing those that come from out of town, and eating all the delicious foods. We were so thankful to attend several Christmas specials this year and be sung to in our home by several members of the Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church out caroling.
Jimmy and Becky Womack of Smithville visited last week. We always enjoy seeing these dear friends. They brought a beautiful flower for my table. Thank you!
Gay and Jerry Paul Vanatta of Watertown brought a lovely fruit basket by from the Eastern Star. It was good to see them. My daughter Deborah and her husband Buddy Fuson are staying with us during the holidays. It turns out that Buddy and Jerry Paul graduated together and hadn’t seen each other in years. The guys enjoyed catching up since their high school years.
Buddy Fuson of Arkansas has been visiting with friends and family, Sue Blair of Smithville and Robbie Joan Frazier of Liberty, last week.
Bro. Donald Owens, Bobby and Paulette Robinson visited last Wednesday afternoon and brought a wonderful meal for our family. We look forward to their weekly visits.
Prayers go out to: Baby Lela Young, Karen Jacobs, Randy Hawker, Georgie Hawker, Carlene Martin and family, the Bill Page family, and all those suffering with colds and sinus. We pray for all to have a wonderful New Year 2017!
You are more than welcome to start the New Year becoming a part of our church family at Dry Creek Baptist. Everyone is WELCOME!
