I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving Day with family and friends. I enjoyed my day with family, Nana, Rebecca Ervin, cooks our feast every year, we do bring some side dishes. We always have a wonderful time together. Those attending were; Douglas and Barbara Ann Ervin, Hunter, Nicole, Ryder, Cooper, Tucker Stanfield, Mark and Kimberly Violet, Spencer Stanfield, Hayden and Katie Ervin, and Ryan, Lindsy, and Charlee Mac Winfree. I call my brothers, James and Paul and wish their family a Happy Thanksgiving Day. Paul and Tenille Rowland enjoy hunting, so the day before Thanksgiving Paul killed an 8 point buck and the day of Thanksgiving, Tenille killed a big 9 point buck. They were pretty excited. James and Gina celebrated with their children, Jonathan and Stephanie Rowland and Landon, and Andrew and Dana Park and Thomas and William in Murfreesboro. Guest of Wil and Angie Meadows were; Billy, Stephanie, Sophie and Serentiy Tiner, Brandon Rackley, and Barbara and Aaron Meadows.
I hope everyone has been able to buy the gifts needed on Black Friday. I also hope everyone came home without scratches or bruises. I am going to check downtown Smithville today and see all the bargains there.
I guess it is time now to put up the Christmas tree. I am bringing out a smaller tree this year. I think I may finally give my children their ornaments I have collected for them over all the years. I have invested quite a lot in Hallmark ornaments. It’s time to give them to them and start with my granddaughter. I may have a new granddaughter by Christmas. I am excited. Charlee want a baby sister last year. I explained to her that it’s just not going to happen, but this year it is. Charlee told me it was a girl as soon as she found out her mama was expecting and she was right. She also told me she had been praying for a sister.
As Christmas is approaching start reading in Luke and by the time you get to Christmas you will know why we celebrate this beautiful holiday the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Honor Him in all you do.
Everyone have a blessed day.
