Class of 1969 celebrate 50th reunion
1969 class

Forty-five members of the Class of 1969 recently met together for their 50th class reunion held on August 17, 2019 at Real Life Connection Center. Guests and spouses also attended the event with approximately 85 coming together to celebrate the night with the alumni DeKalb County High School.

Secretary of the class, Jane Frazier Groom, and Chairman of the Reunion, Susan Frazier Hinton, presided over the festivities. Students were met by memorabilia of the class including pictures of all the reunions held starting with the 10th. The class had fun taking pictures in the photo booth, received gifts and door prizes along with DCHS Trivia, music, poems composed for the special celebration. After the group picture, the attendees enjoyed a most wonderful buffet.  Everyone decided to have another get together in 15 years. Hope to see class members who were unable to attend this year.
