Just three more days to take advantage of the Going Out of Business Sale of the Country Treaures Shoppe on, W. Walnut Street.It is with mixed emotions that we close the shoppe, but I have so many things on my agenda that my energy won't cover all my endeavors.I had begun the shoppe hoping to make a difference, since we have so many empty buildings in town. Hopefully, business can be restored in our small town soon, like it used to be.Thanks to all our consignors and shoppers.Melford Smith's family suggested that their mother receive 90 birthday cards on July 23, in remembrance of her 90th birthday. Doyle Smith, her husband, said that she had actually received 135 cards and probably will receive more.
