Well, we are now into the New Year 2020. May it be a good and prosperous year for all of us? I slept right through the transition of the New Year coming in. There were millions of people who saw 2020 arrive right on time. Personally, I stayed true to my word and went to bed as usual and didn’t lose a wink of sleep in the process.
There are some people we need to be uplifting in prayer: Loyce Holcomb (She’s been diagnosed with cancer and will be having surgery this Friday), Jeanette Smithson, Charlie Mai Daniel, Helen Nixon, Dr. J.C. Wall, and Tim Howes.
Clyde Nokes birthday bash went well. Lot of people there at his son, Bill’s residence. Four bands playing music. Great night with family and friends there to congratulate Clyde on his 91st birthday. Food in abundance for this great event to honor Clyde.
Hope you get to be in the Lord’s house this Sunday to praise and worship Him. The Lord has blessed all of us so much hasn’t He? As Christians we are to be serving Jesus and what better way of doing just that than blessing others around us. Even small deeds you do for others can add up to being so important to those in need so in this New Year get up off your good intentions and be productive in helping others. We are to always tell them of our Savior Jesus Christ but you know actions speak louder than words and we only hope it is Jesus they see when they look at us and that they will want Him in their life, too.

O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise Him, all ye people. For HIS merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 117:1, 2
