The rain is here in DeKalb County and the colder weather is on the way. The lady bugs are trying to seek shelter in my house this week. My husband placed a few hedge apples around the house to repel spiders, I read they don’t like them very much and they don’t like cinnamon. I spotted a few woolly worms outside and they were coal black, many say that means a rough winter.
Deer hunting season is just around the corner that means the deer will be running around in the morning and night. Be careful when you see them in the field they will cross at any time. I had a deer to hit my vehicle and total it out. Dangerous to you and your vehicles.
Thanksgiving dinner was held this past Saturday for my side of the family the Rowlands. It was held at Gordonsville, Tennessee where my oldest brother, James and Regina Rowland reside. There are three of us James, Paul and myself we take turns holding this event. Next year will be Paul’s turn, I am good for another year. Seem like each year we have a few more little ones present which is wonderful. We all had a great time. And I finally got a group picture of us all which was a task since no one wants their picture taken including myself, but I told them it was for the children since we are getting old. None seem to laugh at that I may have offending a few people.
I ask everyone as the holidays come around cherish the moments you have with your love ones, take pictures, laugh, and talk about your memories for as we all know we are not promised tomorrow. Tell your family and friends that you love them.
Everyone have a blessed day.
