Collins wins second place in national essay contest

Chloe Collins, the granddaughter of Judy Johnson and the late Billy Johnson of Liberty, won second place in the 2017 ‘Character Counts’ Essay and Artwork contest sponsored annually by the National Association for Family and Community Education (NAFCE). Chloe’s parents are Tony and Trena Collins of Carthage, and her older sister is Paige Snyder of Smithville. As the second-place winner, Chloe was invited to attend the NAFCE Annual Conference luncheon which was held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, July 8.
