Kenlee Renae Taylor was chosen the 2012 Little Miss Princess from a field of 32 contestants Wednesday night at the DeKalb County Fair. She is the seven-year-old daughter of Ken and Cindy Taylor of Smithville. She succeeds the 2011 Little Miss Princess, Madison Rae Rackley, the nine-year-old daughter of Gordon and Jessica Rackley.
First runner-up went to Alexis Grace Atnip, the nine-year-old daughter of Veronica Atnip of Smithville. Seven-year-old Natalie Morgan Snipes was named second runner-up. She is the daughter of Tim and Michelle Snipes of Smithville. Third runner-up went to two contestants due to a tie, McKenzie Faith Sanders and Maeloree Arlene Kirby. Sanders of the seven-year-old daughter of James and Misti Sanders of Smithville. Kirby is the eight-year-old daughter of Jesse and Shaunna Kirby of Smithville. Sanders was also named Miss Photogenic while Kirby was also named Miss Congenially. Addison Jean Puckett was the fourth runner-up. She is the eight-year-old daughter of Jimmy and Anita Puckett of Smithville.
Rounding out the top 10 were Carlee Elizabeth West,  Arista Isabella Rigsby, Haylee Cassandra Merriman and Emma Brooke Jennings.
The Extreme Queen crown went to Hannah Dawn Hall, the seven-year-old daughter of Joseph and April Hall of Smithville. The award is sponsored by the Extreme Looks Design Team Salon. The People’s Choice Award for this pageant was presented to Rebekah Haylee Adams, the eight-year-old daughter of Brian and Carolyn Adams of Smithville.
In the second pageant of the night Sarah Anne Colwell was named the 2012 Miss Sweetheart queen. She is the 11-year old daughter of Trent and Christie Colwell of Smithville. She succeed the reigning queen Tyra Graham the 13-year-old daughter of Kyle and Doris Graham of Smithville.
Making up Colwell’s court were first runner-up Macy Elizabther Hege, the 11-year-old daughter of David and Trina Hedge of Smithville. She was also name Miss Photogenic. Kayla Janey Belk was named second runner-up. She is the 12-year-old daughter of Chris Anne Blek of Smithville and Wendell Belk of Christiana. Eleven-year-old Shaunta Koelger was chosen third-runner-up. She is the daughter of Brian and Leticia Koegler of Smithville. Julie Grace Curtis, the 10-year-old daughter of Bruce and Amy Curtis of Smithville, was named fourth-runner-up.
Rounding our the top 10 were Addison Grace Oakley, Morgan Faith Green,  Kenzie Faith France,  Anna Rachel Blair,  and Brooklyn Storm Estes.
The Extreme Queen crown went to Santanna Ferrell. She is the 12-year-old daughter of Melissa Ferrell and Chris Ferrell of Dowelltown. The title of Miss Congeniality went to Shelby Sprague, the 10-year-old daughter of Jimmy and Johnna Sprague of Smithville. Abigial Hope Taylor, the 11-year-old daughter of Ken and Cindy Taylor, received the People’s Choice Award.
