New Home News with Barbara Ann Ervin

I think we received plenty of rain this past week and it is cooler this Monday morning. Forecast shows warmer weather to come soon. The sunshine will allow people to get out and enjoy the outside and warmer temperatures.

We celebrated my son Hayden birthday this past Sunday, his birthday was on the 22nd of April. We do enjoy our family time. Ryan my son-in-law’s birthday will be this Wednesday the 29th. We will be celebrating his this upcoming Sunday.

As the governor open up Tennessee softly please still wear a mask if possible and wash hands as needed and keep your distance. I hope this virus goes away soon, but I think it is here for a while. Better to protect you and your family. Make good choices when you go out and always have hand sanitizer or somewhere to wash your hand.

I saw on the news where people are baking breads and sweets and making desserts.  The news also said one flour company that would be slowing down are running full force due to the baking. Also people are cooking at home much more and getting to spend a meal together as a family. I love to cook and I have been doing plenty of that but, I am not a baker I leave that to my daughter, Lindsy and my daughter-in-law, Katie. If you cook or bake something extra take to someone leave it at their door. Everyone loves a sweet treat or a meal.

Congratulations to all the DCHS 2020 senior’s. They have set a day for Graduation but it could be change right now it is June 19.
