Fifty years after graduating from DeKalb County High School, members of the Class of 1967 gathered for their golden anniversary reunion August 19 at the New Life Connection Center to reminisce about the good old days. This class began as freshmen when DCHS came into existence after the consolidation of Smithville and Liberty High Schools and was the first to complete all four years at the new consolidated school. There were 110 students who graduated on May 26, 1967 of which 21 are now deceased.
