DeKalb West School has selected the Students of the Month for October. Students are chosen for the honor based on their academic ability, character, and other traits that make them an outstanding student at DWS. Students selected were Brylee Key, Kindergarten; Makenna Lomas, first grade, Aiden Ramirez, second grade, Emeri Barrett, third grade, Abby Crook, fourth grade, Lauren Fry, fifth grade, Tess Baron, sixth grade, Ellie Vaughn, seventh grade, and Jathan Willoughby, eighth grade.
